Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most well-known character was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school before moving to Ohio together with her family during the early 1970s. She was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons in Chicago theatre before moving on to TV and film roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big role as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as guest stars on a few TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she was cast in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a the highlights of her acting career. Gunn was also on the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes The Numbered Days series, which launched in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the relationship he has with Skyler are mirrored in the series.
